IJAS invites colleagues to mark together the anniversary of Dada Vujasinović’s death

On Friday, April 8, it will be 28 years since the death of “Duga” journalist Radislava Dada Vujasinović, which has not been clarified even today. On that occasion, the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia invites colleagues, as well as all citizens, to gather on Branko’s Bridge on Friday at 1 pm, where they will symbolically throw white roses into the river in memory of the deceased journalist.

Radislava Dada Vujasinović was found dead on April 9, 1994, in her apartment at 118 Bulevar Boulevard in New Belgrade. The record made after the autopsy stated that she died the day before, at 1:30 AM.

The original official version of events was that the journalist committed suicide by shooting herself in the chest with a hunting rifle, but later that version was called into question, which is why this case has remained unsolved to this day.
