The Serbian Press Council rejected a complaint against the N1 and Nova.rs portals filed by a senior official of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.
Assistant Minister Katarina Tomasevic said in her complaint that the two portals owned by United Group were waging what she called an orchestrated campaign against the Working Group which drafted the amendments to the law on electronic media headed by her.
The Press Council ruled that the N1 and Nova.rs portals did not violate the Serbian Journalists’ Code.
