UNESCO Survey to assess the Safety of Environmental Journalists

UNESCO, the United Nations agency responsible for the protection and safety of journalists, of which the IFJ is an associate member, invites you to respond to this important survey on the safety and protection of environmental journalists in four languages (English, French, Spanish and Portuguese).

As you will read, this survey includes and builds on the data collection the IFJ has previously done on environmental journalism, but has focused more on the specific threats our colleagues face.

 

The World Press Freedom Day, which will be celebrated on May 3, 2024 in Santiago (Chile), will be dedicated this year to environmental journalism and the results of this survey will be presented there.
