The lawyer representing two students whose passport data was published by the media announced on Friday that criminal complaints will be filed against all outlets that disclosed the personal information of Lazar and Luka Stojakovic, students involved in the ongoing protests.
Lawyer Ahmed Delimedjac told the Fonet news agency that he expects a response from the Ombudsman, Zoran Pasalic, as the media’s actions have effectively targeted the students and endangered their rights.
However, Delimedjac expressed doubt about the effectiveness of the lawsuit, saying that, given the state of the Serbian judiciary, he unfortunately expects nothing from the legal action against the media.
