Students in Belgrade and Novi Sad set up video beams in front of the public broadcaster buildings showing the N1 live coverage of the arrival of the student bicycle column to Strasbourg.
The video beams were set up in central Belgrade at the state TV (RTS) headquarters and in the suburb of Kostunjak where the RTS has a studio. In Novi Sad, the protesters at the Radio TV Vojvodina (RTV) building watched and cheered as the bike riders arrived in Strasbourg.
N1 reporters from the protests were almost impossible to hear because of the noise made by the crowd.
