“See you again, Dragan”: Students call for a protest in front of TV Informer

Students of the Faculty of Political Sciences announced a protest in front of TV Informer for Saturday at 17 p.m

 

Students in the blockade Faculty of Political Sciences The University of Belgrade and citizens of the Braće Jerković choir announced a protest in front of the television for Saturday at 17 p.m Inform.

 

The protest is organized under the slogan “See you again, Dragan“.

 

At the end of March this year, a student protest “DEZinformer” was held in front of the Informer building, where, according to Archive of public meetings, about 9500 citizens participated.

 

At that time, citizens signed a petition demanding a ban on the work of Informer.

 

The protest then lasted for six hours, and the mail was also delivered to her victims in Novi Sad 16 minutes of silence.

 

After that, the cleaning action began, because, the students said, “they are not Ćaci”.

 

The students took the cans with the words “Invade” to the police and the Informer, with the aim that, as they stated at the time, “Dragan and all his fellow anti-journalists will get into them.”

 

 

Students previously told Vučićević: “How nice it is to be stupid”

 

The students dedicated the song “How nice to be stupid” directly to Dragan J. Vučićević.

 

Before that, the participants of the protest were the action “Half an hour of noise”. The students invited the citizens to make noise with whistles and vuvuzelas, and as they stated, the goal is to make the noise heard in the Informer television program. Exclamations of “Dragan”, “Come out Dragan, we have come to hang out” and “what are you hiding, Dragan” were also heard.

 

Even before the start of the protest, forces were deployed around the Informer building police.

 

Vans with members of the Police Brigade in equipment for breaking up demonstrations also arrived. Police officers stopped citizens and students who tried to approach the Informer building and warned them not to do so again.

 

“The FPN students have made a decision – we will no longer react only with announcements and defend ourselves against your dirty attacks. From this moment on, you are our direct enemy. This is not an ordinary conflict, this is a media war between Informer and students, lies and lies, abuse of power and resistance,” read the students’ message to the Informer editorial office.
