A state TV (RTS) cameraman was thrown out of the Serbian presidency building on Tuesday for wearing a badge with the bloody hand symbol, Danas daily said.
It said that the cameraman was thrown out of President Aleksandar Vucic’s news conference over the badge.
Vucic told reporters and news crews to come to events “dressed decently without anything that insults state institutions”. “Please have cameramen dressed decently, not wearing shorts and insignia that offends the institutions of this country because we will throw them out every time. I am talking to you from the RTS. He was not allowed in today and he will not be in future unless he behaves politely,” Vucic told the news conference.
The bloody hand symbol has been used with the slogan Your Hands Are Bloody since the start of the anti-regime protests following the deaths of 16 people at Novi Sad Railway Station.
