Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic condemned the assault on an N1 crew but continued added that he is very dissatisfied with the station’s reporting.
Vucic told Tuesday’s news conference the he “strongly condemns the assault” on the N1 crew by a man who walked out of the Caciland regime-supporter tent camp between the presidency building and parliament. The police deployed there as security failed to respond to the attack.
He said that things like that should not happen. “The public is very dissatisfied with your reporting but I have not intention of saying that because I would have the right to be bitter about what you do and the lies you pour out every day against me and my family. I have no intention of dealing with you and banning you from entering. This was impermissible and the competent authorities are doing their job,” Vucic told the news conference.
Vucic accused the people who gathered in a show of support at Caciland on Monday evening of attacking staff from regime media. “I especially condemn the fierce, brutal attack which happened at your gathering when attacks happened on different media which your editor in chief approved of. I am calling the authorities to react,” Vucic said.
