The Reporting Diversity Network named the editor in chief of the pro-regime tabloid Informer Dragan J. Vucicevic Troll of the Year on Tuesday.

Dragan J. Vucicevic was awarded the Troll of the Year title after RDN’s audience voted him the most harmful figure among the 12 Trolls of the Month in 2025, Instagram post said.

It recalled that Vucicevic was named Troll of the Month after he published intimate photos of student Nikolina Sindjelic without her consent. Sindjelic came under fire from Informer after accusing a senior police officer of threatening to rape her after being arrested at a protest in Belgrade.

The Network added that Vucicevic made degrading comments about her on live TV and fueled violence against her after she spoke out about police brutality and threats of sexual violence.

“By humiliating Sindjelic, Vucicevic and his outlet intensified gender-based violence and contributed to a broader dangerous overlap between state power, media influence and hate speech in Serbia,” the post said.

It warned that this was not an isolated case and that Informer was repeatedly found guilty in court for hate speech and defamatory content. It recalled that Vucicevic was even jailed briefly for spreading lies and harmful statements.
