Radar website offline following days of sustained cyberattacks

The website of the weekly magazine Radar has been largely inaccessible since Wednesday night, following a series of relentless attacks on its servers that began last Friday.

The newsroom has informed readers that these persistent disruptions have not only blocked public access to the site but have also crippled its internal Content Management System (CMS). This has left journalists and editors unable to draft or publish new articles, Nova.rs reported.

The IT team tasked with maintaining the Radar website is working to neutralize the hacks. However, the situation is complicated by evidence that the attacks may be targeting the broader network infrastructure housing the site’s servers, rather than just the website itself.

The team noted that as soon as one vulnerability was patched, the attackers shifted their tactics, so the attacks are ongoing.

Since the beginning of 2026, Radar and several other United Media outlets have been targeted by coordinated bot attacks on their Instagram accounts.

In response to these attacks, United Media has filed criminal complaints against unidentified perpetrators with the relevant prosecutor’s office.
