Željko Mitrović’s company Pink TV is having increasing problems in the region. She is accused of “promoting war crimes and spreading hate speech”. After several of Pink’s shows were banned in Montenegro, BH Telekom removed the channels of Pink Television from its offer

The company BH Telekom has informed the users of their MojaTV service that as of April 1 this year, they will no longer have channels on offer Pink Television.

As of April 1, the channels from the Pink group, i.e. additional packages Pink+, Pink E package, Cooperative package and additional Pink package of channels within the My webTV service, are being withdrawn, according to the announcement, Klix reports.

Those changes mean that TV channels from the Pink group will be withdrawn from the basic TV packages Moja TV Net M, Moja TV Net L, Moja TV Full M and Moja TV Full L, BH Telekom announced. They also state that users of the MojaTV service, who have concluded a contract with a mandatory duration, will have the right to terminate the contract without paying a fee in the period from March 2 to 31.

As they pointed out, the exception is users who have concluded a contract for 12 or 24 months for the service with the purchase of a device at a reduced price, who have a contract for 12 or 24 months for the purchase of a device from the Partner offer of BH Telekom.

Simultaneously with the withdrawal of the mentioned channels, it is planned to add new channels and the Vojo service at no additional charge.

In this way, the basic TV package of these users becomes richer in terms of content and value, including a total of 150 channels, as defined in the price list, BH Telekom stated.

Promotion of war criminals

As “Danas” previously wrote, the management of BH Telekom, headed by Amel Kovačević, has been trying for a long time to find a way to terminate the contract with Pink, owned by Željko Mitrović, without damaging Telekom.

The problem was, “Danas” learned unofficially, that the previous management of BH Telekom headed by Sedin Kahriman (SDA) signed a contract with Pink and extended it before his own replacement, so that the new management’s “hands are tied”.

It is stated that it is problematic that BH Telekom pays hundreds of thousands of euros to Pink, whose channels “host war criminals and call for the disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina along with the demonization of Bosniaks.”
