The senior ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) MP who made offensive remarks against United Group media outlets said he won’t be calling them terrorist trash for fear of consequences.
“I accept the criticism from UNS (Serbian Journalists Association) and will no longer refer to N1, NovaS, Radar, and Danas as Solak’s propaganda-terrorist trash. It is very important that my attention was drawn in this way to the fact that the phrase “Solak’s propaganda-terrorist trash” can lead to certain consequences that I certainly would not want,” Milenko Jovanov said in an X post.
Jovanov made a number of offensive remarks about N1, Nova and other independent media outlets during this week’s sessions of parliament.
