N1 denied claims by the pro-regime Informer tabloid that it’s crew was present at an incident in Kula.
“Regarding claims broadcast on Informer TV’s “Collegium” program and subsequently repeated in an article on the broadcaster’s website that an N1 television crew was in Kula, at the site of the incident reported by the pro-government tabloid, we want to make clear that this information is not true,” N1 said.
It added that N1 did not have a crew at that location when the incident occurred, and no one from our newsroom witnessed the incident.
The claims that “the N1 crew was there” are false, as are insinuations that N1 witnessed the incident but chose not to report it.
We do not expect Informer to check the facts and correct the inaccurate information published in its article.
