N1: We will continue working in line with the same professional standards
Regarding Friday’s report by the Cenzolovka portal about Alpac Capital’s takeover of Adria News Network (ANN), N1 said that the change in ownership would not affect the television station’s editorial policy, nor the way in which its newsroom makes editorial decisions.
The N1 newsroom reiterates that it will continue to operate according to the same professional principles and standards as before. The editorial team retains full responsibility for the selection of topics, the manner of reporting, and editorial decisions made in the public interest.
*N1 incorrectly reported that desk chiefs were dismissed. Some of the media outlet directors were dismissed. We apologize for the error.
