The publisher of the tabloid “Informer” became a co-owner of the company “Best Media Team”, which bought several local media in Serbia since the beginning of the year. According to the data of the Agency for Business Registers, the company is now owned by “Alo Media System” with 90 percent and “Insider Team”, the publisher of Informer, with 10 percent.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) announced that the company Best Media Team, which since the beginning of the year bought several local media in Serbia, was 100% owned by the company Alo Media System, which publishes the tabloid “Alo”, but from today it is shared with the publisher of the tabloid “Informer“, i.e. the company Insider Team. That change of ownership was recorded in the Agency for Business Registers (APR).
This year, Best Media Team bought Užice media outlets Television 5 and TV Lav Plus, TV Priboj, portal valjevo5.rs, RTV Bačka Palanka, Lotel Plus from Loznica and Santos Television from Zrenjanin.
The company “Best Media Team” was officially registered on December 24 last year and was first owned by the company “Alo Media System”. The company is located at Kosovska 26, Belgrade, where the headquarters of the company that owns it is also located. The director of the company is Dragan Lazić.
This newly founded company “Aloa”, as stated in the APR, also registered two daughter companies – on December 30 Miomedia in Mionica and on January 15 Infomačva in Šabac, in which Dragan Mandić, the owner of media publisher Lotel Plus from Loznica, owns 20 percent.
In the contact information of the APR for these two companies, email addresses containing the words TV Mačva and TV Kolubara are listed, which does not exclude the possibility that they are planning to register new local media with these names, writes ANEM.
