The Belgrade Commercial Appeals Court has rejected Informer TV’s appeal and upheld the earlier Commercial Court decision granting a temporary injunction that prohibits the television station from using N1 TV’s program until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
In its explanation, the court said there is sufficient probability that by re-broadcasting N1 TV’s live program, TV Informer violated the intellectual property rights of the N1 channel as the content producer.
Adria News S.a.r.l, the owner of N1 channel, has initiated legal proceedings against Informer TV to protect its rights as a content producer after Informer TV used N1 TV’s live program without permission.
