Internal Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told an N1 reporter on Friday that the search for the man who assaulted an N1 crew is not within his jurisdiction.
“I am the minister, I do not interfere in police operations,” he said.
The n1 crew was assaulted on November 20 at the Caciland regime-supporter tent camp by a man who was later identified as a convicted killer. The man broke their camera while police officers deployed there looked on.
Dacic referred the reporter to the police, saying that N1 could have asked about the case at Thursday’s news conference by top police officers.
The minister also denied reports that the police refuses to react and investigate in Caciland. Belgrade prosecutor Gordana Nedic Isailovic said earlier this week that that she was not allowed to investigate in Caciland, a fact backed up by an official record.
