The author of the show “Without hesitation” on KTV, Aleksandar Dikić, was arrested by members of the Ministry of Interior’s anti-high-tech crime service.
Aleksandar Dikić, the columnist and author of the show “Bez ustruvanja” on KTV, was detained for up to 48 hours, his lawyer Ivan Ninić announced on the X social network.
Ninic wrote that Dikic will be brought before the prosecutor on Thursday at 11 am.
Dikic was arrested on Wednesday. Novi Sad.
Dikić was arrested by members of the service for combating high-tech crime of the MUP, writes the Nova portal.
Dikic’s lawyer Ivan Ninic confirmed that the police escorted his client to Belgrade.
“I expect to see Dikić in two hours and know all the details. The decision on police detention for 48 hours has yet to be delivered to us,” said Ninic.
The assumption is that Dikić was arrested because of what he said regarding the student list. In one video, addressing the students, Dikić pointed out that their goal is to topple the regimes and then “create the system they are fighting for – a system that will function after Aleksandar Vučić“.
“But the struggle itself, if you can’t overcome it for 13 years, you don’t have the luxury of being so exclusive as to say: ‘we don’t need anyone’. Of course you won’t want someone from the Presidency to be on your student list or tomorrow to be a minister. Of course not. He just needs to help us to bring down that regime, so that it would be some kind of extenuating circumstances, when they shoot him, to put a blindfold on him,” said Dikić.
KTV owner Danijel Radić assumes so.
“I don’t know the exact reason for the arrest, but I can only assume. Police who came said that she did not know exactly what it was about and that they had received an order for enforcement and detention,” Radić told Danas.
He assumes that the detention is related to Dikić’s statement, which, he says, was taken out of context and which was broadcast on all media.
“Dikić also explained this in his show ‘Skener’. He, I think, made that statement for Srbin Info, where he said that the students must cooperate with some people from the regime in order to overthrow Vučić and that in general there is not much to choose, but that people from the government who agree to cooperate have some mitigating circumstance in the whole story, after the change of the regime. Then he gave an example metaphorically, of course, he did not mean literally – that those who cooperate, during the metaphorical shooting, to put a blindfold on. They took it out of context and said that he called for the shooting of President Aleksandar Vučić, which has nothing to do with life,” says Radić.
In recent days, the regime media reported that Dikić “called for the shooting of Vučić and those who support him”.
