Manja Grcic was elected at today’s session of the Board of Directors RTSfor director of public service, announced Tanjug.

N1 reports that Grcic submitted a certificate that her degree from the University of Leeds contains the necessary 240 ESPB points.

The mandate of Dragan Bujošević as the General Director expired on February 3, and the Board of Directors of RTS appointed him acting for another six months the day before.

Bujošević, however, did not sign the employment contract, so the public service did not have an acting director, nor anyone else who could sign official decisions.

At the competition, six candidates met the requirements: Dejan Stanković, Slađana Ivančević, Miloš Tanasković, Manja Grčić, Stanislav Veljković and Dragoljub Stankić.

Stanislav Veljković withdrew his candidacy last week, stating that the Board of Directors of RTS accepted Manja Grcic’s application even though she did not submit proof that her diploma contains 240 ESPB points, which is a legal requirement for the position of general director of the public service.
