Long-time United Media CEO Aleksandra Subotic has been fired after months of speculation that she was about to be removed from the post, learns Raskrikavanje media outlet.

Immediately after the new Adria news network company was launched, long-time United Media director Aleksandra Subotic was fired, several sources confirmed to Raskrikavanje.

Subotic was one of the key figures in United Media, under whose management the media outlets N1, Nova, Danas and Radar operated until a few days ago.

This step implements the plan that the new CEO of United Group Stan Miller and the director of state-owned Telekom Vladimir Lucic discussed.

Namely, a new company that will manage media within United Group was recently launched – Adria news network (ANN).

Brent Sadler has been appointed as the chief executive news editor within ANN. The statement states that he will be responsible for overseeing the media’s editorial standards as well as managing the editorial offices and preserving the professional integrity of journalism within this network.
