Project Objective:
Contribution to raising citizen awareness of importance of professional journalism as a control factor in a democracy through production of two editions of the Media Dossier and accompanying campaign Journalists are essential workers.
Project Results:
The project results include
- Two editions of the Media Dossier that would contextualise and analyse current developments relevant to media freedoms and their potential consequences
- Relevant stakeholders – media organisations community, journalists, media on one, and the government and other state authorities on the other – are informed about the current development, IJAS key findings, conclusions and/or recommendations
- Wider audience is more aware of the role of journalists and media who upholder professional standards in a democracy
Activity 1: Production and publication of Media Dossier
- Result 1: Two editions of the Media Dossier that would contextualise and analyse current developments relevant to media freedoms and their potential consequences
Activity 2: Promotion of the Media Dossier, further dissemination of its analysis and findings
