After 18 years of work at TV Happy, Milomir Marić quit his job, and a month after Informer’s accusations that he supports blockers
Journalist and editor Milomir Marić resigned after 18 years at TV Happy, one of the five television stations with a national frequency in Serbia, the pro-government tabloid Kurir reported today.
Marić refuses to comment on this news.
Milomir Marić, who for a time was also the editor-in-chief of this television, as well as the editor of the morning program, will remain in the company until the end of October.
The author of the show Cyrillic i Bare life. U Cyrillic his frequent guest was Aleksandar Vučić whom Marić addressed as “you”, and Vučić addressed him as “vi”.
A month ago, tabloid Informer harshly criticized TV Heppy, accusing it of “supporting the blockaders” and “resembling N1”, after the program broadcast information about student protests in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
That is why this tabloid said that TV Happy is spreading “false news against Serbia and its leadership”, claiming that this is not a mistake but a new editorial policy.
They also stated that Heppy is a television station that has a national frequency and has received everything from the state, and expressed shock that it is now allegedly supporting the “blockades”.
According to Nova.rs, on October 20, Marić registered the production “Ćirilica” in the Agency for Commercial Registers. The seat of that company is in the apartment owned by his wife Vesna Radusinović.
He opened the production “Ćirilica” together with Katarina Korša.
