An N1 crew was stopped from interviewing ruling party activists marching to the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) rally in Belgrade from Novi Sad.

The group of SNS activists were taking a break in the the town of Banstol about halfway from Novi Sad to Indjija when the N1 crew came up to talk to some of them. A number of the activists hid their faces and turned away from the camera and one tried to prevent the crew from recording.

The man, identified as Vukasin Djokovic, told the crew that they did not “have a blessing to record” and stopped others in the group from approaching the camera.

One man did tell the N1 crew that they were on their way to support President Aleksandar Vucic. Another man said he came out to support the marchers, giving them water and fruit.

The SNS rally is scheduled to take place in Belgrade on Saturday afternoon.
