An N1 crew was warned not to continue covering a group of regime supporters marching to Belgrade from the city of Indjija for a gathering organized by President Aleksandar Vucic.

The regime supporters’ police escort told the N1 crew that there aren’t enough officers to provide security adding that the crew can’t be in front of the police vehicle heading the column of marchers.

Prior to the warning, members of the marching group shouted abuse at the N1 reporter and cameraman, calling them traitors and Ustashe (WW2 Croatian fascists who persecuted Serbs). The shouting and abuse were clearly heard during a live report along the road to Belgrade. A round orange object was also thrown at the reporter.

A female police officer told the N1 crew they could go ahead of the column for their live report but a fellow officer said they had to go off the air immediately and get off the road.
