N1 and Nova S have not been offered to Yettel cable operator clients yet even though the company pledged to make those two independent media outlets available by the end of June.
Yettel said late in May in exchanges with its clients on social networks that N1 and Nova S would be made available but that has not happened this July 1.
The SBB cable provider that offered both those channels was sold early in April and a contract was signed with the e& PPF Telekom Group which owns Yettel but N1 and Nova S were not made available to its clients despite expectations that they would be from the start and despite the fact that N1 is the channel with the highest ratings as is usual in times of social crisis.
When it was sold, SBB offered its clients 45 new channels but Yettel failed to make United Media channels available to its clients. The excuse given in May was that “a modernization of the TV platform is underway” and was expected to be completed by the end of June. That upgraded platform was supposed to provide “more news, entertainment and movie content, including 19 United Media channels as well as N1 and Nova S”.
N1 went through official channels to ask Yettel what the United Media channels have not been made available to its clients but has received no reply so far.
