Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s working dinner with European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa in Brussels ended on Tuesday evening. Following the event, Vucic held a press conference to which N1 was not invited.
Vucic held the press conference at the Republic of Serbia Mission building in Brussels, however, N1’s European correspondent Nikola Radisic did not receive an invitation for this press conference.
“Of all the Brussels correspondents and EU reporters, as well as the teams of journalists that Vucic constantly brings along, I am the only one who did not get an invitation to this press conference… This comes after last week when I asked Vucic an ‘unpleasant’ question, which he reportedly did not expect. Whether or not that is the reason, I cannot say, but it’s interesting that N1 was the only one that was not informed about Vucic’s conference,” said N1’s correspondent Nikola Radisic.
Last week, during his visit to Brussels, the Serbian president responded to a question from N1’s reporter regarding whether a sound cannon was used against demonstrators at the March 15 protest in Belgrade, saying that it was never used anywhere by anyone.
During the exchange, Vucic interrupted the N1 reporter with questions and did not allow for any follow-up questions.
