On February 20, the “Strength of the South” portal was entered into the Media Register, the latest in a series of sites launched by Zaple Media Group since the beginning of the year. Like other portals from the same production, this one shares the same editor-in-chief, while the information about the editorial office and the publisher are not clearly highlighted.
Novi Sad company Zaple Media Group she founded another new local portal, with the same editor-in-chief as in the previously established 10 media owned by the same company and without the aforementioned imprint.
We are talking about the Power of the South portal, registered in the Media Register of the Agency for Economic Registers on February 20.
The new portal covers news from several cities in southern Serbia, including Niš, Leskovac, Pirot, Vranje and Prokuplje.
Zaple Media Group, from the beginning of 2026, in addition to the Snaga Juga portal, she founded another 10 media portals – Once and now, Once and now info, Before and after info, Before-and-after, Stara Pazova live, Nova Pazova live, Podunavlje live, Serbia in the East, Palanačke vesti and Glas Aranđelovac.
Editor – the same man
The owner of the Novi Sad company that publishes these 11 portals is Milica Lainović, and the director Gradimir Bankovic.
The director of this company, which was founded on December 11 last year, is also registered in the Media Register as the editor-in-chief of all 11 new portals.
Gradimir Banković, by the way, has been a guest in the media in recent years and analyzes the social and situation in the country as a representative Centra za društvenu stabilnost, on whose website he is listed as a “collaborator”. This non-governmental organization is known as the organizer of last year’s counter rallies, i.e. gatherings attended by the state leadership.
The Center for Social Stability has also produced several films targeting dissidents of the government, including “(Un)Blockade” and “The NGO File”, broadcast on cable and television with national frequencies, as well as on social networks.
Recently, with the signature of this Center, the work “Evil Age 2” in which Veran Matic targets, president of the ANEM Board of Directors and a member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists, on television Prva, B92, Informer, Documentary TV which broadcasts its program even though it is not registered as a media nor does it have permission from REM, writes ANEM.
Banković is the owner and director of the company Elementum Media doo from Novi Sad, registered for the production and broadcasting of television programs, and at the same time the legal representative of the association “Kogitatum centar”, which in 2021 received funds from the Ministry of Environmental Protection in a competition intended for the civil sector.
