A majority of employees at Serbian state TV (RTS) culture and art desk support the students’ demands, said a press release issued by the RTS cultural program editorial teams.
The staff expressed support for the students’ “responsible, courageous and determined fight” for a society founded on noble, deeply patriotic values looking to a better future.
“The shared goal and struggle is to live in a state where individuals and institutions are accountable, where there is rule of law, expertise, freedom of opinion and expression and where culture is a way of life,” said the press release.
The press release was signed by the Culture and Art Desk, the Domestic Serial and Drama Desk, the Documentary Desk, the Children’s Programming Department and the Dramaturgy Department.
