Four unions at the Serbian state TV (RTS) staged a protest in front of the public broadcaster’s headquarters in downtown Belgrade on Friday.
The protest called for dignity and the return of institutions to within the framework of the law as well as respect for professional and ethical norms in reporting.
Reporters said that the protesters observed the 15 Minutes of Silence memorial for the victims of the Novi Sad Railway Station tragedy and added that drivers got out of their cars to stand with them.
