Three new media were registered on the same day, with the same ownership structure and the same editor, and will cover different local governments in Serbia. Their editor-in-chief is also a member of the Center for Social Stability, the organization that makes propaganda films for SNS and that organized anti-blockades
Local news in the east of Serbia, u To Aranđelovac i Smederevska Palanka will cover three new locales in the future media.
All three media – Serbia in the East, Palanačke Vesti and Glas Aranđelovac, were registered on the same day, January 9, 2026, in the Agency for Economic Registers (APR) and are all owned by the Novi Sad company Zaple Media Group doo.
The owner of the company is Milica Lainović, and the director is Gradimir Banković. The director of this company, which was founded on December 11 last year, is also registered in the Media Register and as the editor-in-chief of all three new local portals, announced ANEM.
Banković is the owner and director of the company Elementum Media doo from Novi Sad, registered for the production and broadcasting of television programs, and at the same time the legal representative of the association “Kogitatum centar”, which in 2021 received funds from the Ministry of Environmental Protection in a competition intended for the civil sector.
Connection with the Center for Social Stability
In addition, Banković has been a guest in the media in recent years and analyzes the social situation in the country as a representative of the Center for Social Stability.
This non-governmental organization is known as the organizer of last year’s counter-meetings, that is, gatherings attended by the state leadership, and some government officials are also members of this non-governmental organization.
Founded in 2004, registered in APR in 2012, in the last few months Center for Social Stability it has become one of the non-governmental organizations whose work is highly praised by government representatives.
The director of the center is Ognjen Karanović, and the collaborators include Nemanja Starović, the current Minister for European Integration, who in the previous convocation of the Government of Serbia headed the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.
Representatives of the Center for Social Stability are frequent guests of television with national coverage, as well as Informer television.
One of them is Nebojša Obrknežev, whose name is not highlighted among the authors on the website of this organization, but on TV Pink, TV Kurir, he is presented as someone from the Center for Social Stability.
In previous years, the director of the Center for Social Stability, Ognjen Karanović, spoke of opposition parties as a “traveling circus” that “is in the single digits when it comes to support in the electorate.”
The spokesman for the Center for Social Stability is Predrag Rajić, who was elected as a member of parliament from the “Aleksandar Vučić – For Our Children” list in the 2020 parliamentary elections, and in 2024 was appointed as an adviser for internal policy to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.
At the beginning of 2023, the Center for Social Stability received the title of “true Serbian patriots” from the President of Serbia on Instagram.
“Proud that I had the opportunity to meet extremely educated people and true Serbian patriots from the Svetozar Miletić Foundation and the Center for Social Stability from Novi Sad. I talked with them about the current geopolitical situation, learned a lot and asked them to use their knowledge to help the only country they have and love infinitely – Serbia,” wrote Aleksandar Vučić on Instagram in January 2023, with a photo of Nemanja Starović and Predrag Rajić, as well as Miloš Vucevic.
The Center for Social Stability is behind the films and mini-documentary series “Time of terror“, “(De)blockade”, “Dossie Vojvodina”, “Evil Age”.
All these “achievements”, broadcast on some televisions, directly target the students in the blockade, as well as certain media that criticize the government.
