United Group CEO Stan Miller met in London with former CNN journalist Brent Sadler, N1 learned adding that neither man gave a specific reply to questions.
N1 recalled that its report that the United Group management was planning to hire Sadler was not confirmed or denied by UG or Sadler despite multiple requests for comments.
Sadler didn’t answer an N1 reporter’s question but did ask if N1 was following his movements. He added that as a British citizen his stay in London is a private matter and that illegal surveillance falls under the law in the United Kingdom.
United Media (UM) media outlet editors have sent multiple requests for answers to their questions but got no response following the publication of an audio recording by the OCCRP investigative network of a conversation between Miller and Vladimir Lucic, CEO of the state-controlled Telekom Serbia in which the United Group CEO said he would fulfill the promise to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made by BC Partners senior official Nikos Stathopoulos on changes in the United Media company which N1 and Nova S are a part of.
