Podgorica daily Vijesti said on Friday that the Montenegrin police banned the owner of one of the main Serbian pro-regime media outlets from entering the country.

President Vucic threatened reciprocal measures against Montenegro for banning Vucicevic from entering the country, adding that the decision is a big mistake.

It said that the police confirmed that Informer TV and tabloid daily owner Dragan J. Vucicevic would not be allowed into Montenegro because of his constant hate speech against the country and its government.

Montenegro’s electronic media regulator SAMU banned Informer TV broadcasts in May for its constant airing of content offending the Montenegrin public, denying Montenegrin national identity, spreading hate speech and discrimination.

Vucicevic responded on Friday saying he had no intention of going to Montenegro and denying any offensive language. “I never said anything offensive against Montenegro in my life,” he said.

Vucicevic commented the Montenegrin border police ban on 87 men who flew to Tivat a day before an EU-Western Balkans summit, saying they were anti-Serb and accusing the Montenegrin authorities of conspiring with the Serbian regime’s opponents to endanger the life of President Aleksandar Vucic.

Vucicevic and his Informer are widely viewed as the main propaganda outlet supporting the Serbian regime.
