Summary of the project:
The purpose of this project is to contribute to capacity building, networking and encouraging journalistic communication, dialogue and solidarity on current media topics and issues, as well as increasing public understanding of the position of media and journalists in Serbia. The goal of the project is to increase quality, plural and diverse media content regarding media freedom and the rights of journalists. through the publication of the “Dosije o medijima” subsheet. This purpose will be fulfilled through the production of at least 25 media contents in the “Dosije o medijima” in the sub-sheet of the daily newspaper Danas, and through all communication channels of IJAS (website, newsletter, mailing list of membership and social networks of the Association) through which we plan to reach at least 30,000 citizens of Serbia. The target group of the project is primarily journalists and other media professionals, trade unions, journalist and media organizations, other civil society organizations and decision makers, as well as the general public.
Project goal:
The goal of the project is to increase quality, plural and diverse media content regarding media freedom and the rights of journalists. The goal of the project directly contributes to the achievement of the measure from the Media Strategy: Measure 4.4, which provides support for the production and distribution of content in the public interest, is suitable for ensuring the adequate production of quality media content that meets the information needs of various social groups, and journalists and media workers make up a significant a social group whose position depends on the quality of information for the entire society.
