Panel discussion “The state of the digital transition in the news media sector of Serbia”

Europeum Institute for European Policy from Prague and the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia cordially invites you to a discussion brunch “The state of the digital transition in the news media sector of Serbia” , which will be organised in collaboration with the Czech Center Belgrade on December 9th at 11:00 at their facilities in Svetozara Markovića 79

 

The event marks the succesful conclusion of our project Preparing news media in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia for the digital age, which has been supported by the Transition Promotion Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The project aimed to equip civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia in the realm of media pluralism, media freedoms and access to reliable information for the increasing challenges brought by the digital transition of the news media sector. 

 

Speakers:

        Tamara Filipović, Secretary General of NUNS 

        Nedim Sejdinovic, journalist of the Vreme newsmagazin

        Tanja Maksic, program coordinator in the Balkan Investigative Reportong Network of Serbia

 

The discussion will be moderated by the coordinator of the project and analyst Oszkár Roginer- Hofmeister from Europeum Institute for European Policy

 

The working language of the discussion  will be English.
