The chief editor will be Luka Micheta. In Micheta’s official biography on the website of the publishing house Laguna, it is stated that he graduated from the First Belgrade High School and that he studied economics at the University of Belgrade. In addition to his journalistic work, Micheta is the author of numerous books in the fields of history, politics and biography. His books about medieval Serbia and Serbian rulers, among them: Stefan Nemanja, Stefan Prvovenčani, Stefan Dečanski, Dušan Silni, Despot Stefan Lazarević, King Milutin, Karađorđe, as well as the extensive study “Nemanjići: biography”, attracted special attention of the readership.

“The future of NIN is not a choice between paper and screen, but the ability to preserve fundamental values in both spaces – quality and trust. The printed format remains a space for slower and thoughtful reading, while digital media enable speed and dialogue with the world in real time. The vision is – that in the era of digital noise and fragmented information and often unverified narratives, as well as algorithmic filters – we foster a symbiosis of traditional and digital approaches to journalism, journalism that investigates, contextualizes and preserves I see the development of NIN through the combination of its tradition and the innovations of the digital age. I believe that the future of the media will not belong to those who manage to preserve integrity and an authentic relationship with reality. I am still convinced that a good text has the power to enrich the reader and leave a mark that lasts longer than the daily information.”
